Dear Teachers,

The moment you have waited for is here! Many of you have been asking for improvements and upgrades to the teacher mobile app. We appreciate all the continuous support and feedback as we strive to create the most user-friendly experience possible.

Below are some brief introductions to help as you check out the updates. Please note that all existing policies and protocols for scheduling, bookings, time off and attendance are still in effect.

1.1 Teacher Mobile Phone App: Home Page

On the home page, easily check upcoming classes and the To-do list to plan your days and stay on top of company-wide news and communications alerts.

You can see and switch to other sections at the bottom.

By clicking on upcoming classes, quickly preview the contents of a lesson. Take advantage of an early look at the teaching objectives, vocabulary, and sentence patterns.

1.2 Teacher Mobile Phone App: Calendar

Under Calendar, check out and adjust your weekly schedule with ease. This improved feature allows for reliable, quick and easy  review of the status of your assigned bookings each week.  

1.3 Teacher Mobile Phone App: Message

Under Message, get easy access to reach out to Qkids staff based on different inquires:

• CCT Channel: In-class reporting, scheduling and pay

• Coaching Channel: Teaching orientation, teaching support and contract

• Recruitment Channel: Initial recruitment support and service

2. Desktop Upgrades To Come

Keep an eye out for fresh, updated training modules delivered by a new feature, an automated invitation. These invitations will appear in the new Teacher To-Do list.  When accepting an auto-invitation for a model,  you will confirm that you would like to access availability for those booking slots and access the available teacher support resources.

Also, please look out this fall for our first roll-out of the Certificate feature. Certificates will be earned through completion of a Q+A assessment. Certificates will offer quick, succinct foundational information on teaching of a Qkids model,  level bands, etc, and briefly assess for understanding.

FYI completion of new training modules is not the same as completion of a certificate. They are two separate items on the platform, both allowing for teacher *opt in*.

After working diligently to find ways to make booking access transparent, Qkids anticipates this *opt in* model can allow more teachers to be eligible for slots based on universal merits.
