Qkids is pleased to announce the release of a new classroom layout for teachers and students, plus new teacher resources! Check out the news below if you are interested.

New Classroom Layout

We would like to invite interested teachers to pilot the Beta version of our new classroom layout. Our first pioneers who tried it had no hiccups, so we are ready to have more teachers volunteer to download and test drive the software using the applicable link.  Want to try it? Click here:

Once downloaded, there is no option on the platform to switch between the Beta Version and original version. FYI Coaches have a resource for a quick tour and tutorial they can send if you reach out! 

Note: Our IT team is excited to get your input. If you have any, write your coach and let them know if you noticed any great improvements and what might need adjustment still.

New Resources Soon

We will be uploading new resources soon and hope interested teachers will enjoy them all!

All new resources will be under the Teaching tab.

A Phonics resource series will be accessible to all teachers under General Resources. We are sharing this series for anyone who might be interested in enhancing their knowledge to understand, explore or apply principles for early language and literacy development. Currently, there are no new opportunities to access the phonics model, nevertheless invitations to opt into the model are periodically sent out. Please let your coach know if you complete the series and are willing to do a short survey. We are confident that the materials will help for general class applications and would love to know what you think if you check them out.

Also coming soon in November are new resources for recruitment and “Orientation”. FYI Qkids accepts applications on a rolling basis, and is in a highly selective  recruitment period. These materials are useful to all teachers who want to be in-the-know about upgrades and changes in Qkids training, plus those who might want to prepare for future recruitment and peer mentorship.
